Preparation Steps

Rest the Batter
Cover and let the batter rest for 8 to 10 hours at room temperature.
Cook the Dosa
Heat a tawa until hot and dry.
Pour a ladle of the batter onto the center and gently spread.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges.
Cook on one side until crisp and golden, then flip and cook the other side lightly.
Serve Hot
